Yamaha’s High Thrust four strokes are designed for demanding tasks like powering heavy pontoons, enhancing multi-species boats, or maneuvering sailboats in crowded marinas. Available in 60, 50, a new 25, and a 9.9 horsepower variant, these outboards feature larger lower units and higher gear ratios for significantly more thrust compared to standard outboards of the same horsepower with standard propellers. When paired with Yamaha’s Dual Thrust™ propellers (optional on T60/T50 and standard on T25 and T9.9), Yamaha High Thrusts deliver up to 60% more forward thrust and up to 70% more reverse thrust.

Yamaha’s 432cc 25hp High Thrust outboard provides exceptional power-to-weight efficiency. This newly redesigned model features battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection, electric and manual start options on all models, and comes in both 20 and 25-inch shaft lengths for versatile applications. It also includes Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS®) for precise trolling speeds.
